I just scored this 1983 Kawasaki Prairie 250 3 wheeler today for $250.00...............

This ATV is not the prettiest thing out there, but it's mechanically sound. Engine runs perfect and don't smoke. Clutch, transaxle and diff are great. Brakes work and even the head and tail light both work. The tires hold air, but are very dry rotted on the rear 2 because of age. The plastic has been stitched together, the seat cover needs redone, and it's pretty rough looking, but I can work on those issues.

I had 2 ATV 3 wheelers and one 4 wheeler in the past and they were all utility machines like this one, so I will just use around my place for work and play like before. The neat feature about this one is a locking diff with the turn of a hub on the left rear wheel.

My buddy at work loaded it in his truck and brought it home for me since it would not fit in the Geo Metro

That's pretty cool John. We had a Honda 3 wheeler years ago. It was a riot. Eventually we got a 4 wheeler.

Enjoy it... they are fun.
